The Teams
We run teams who play each weekend from ages 7 up to 16, and welcome players of any ability to come and join our teams. We also run training sessions for children from the age of 4 on a Saturday morning. The contact details and school years below are correct for the 2019-20 season, running from September 2019 to May 2020. Eccleshall Eaglets - 4 to 6 years olds
We welcome children from as young as 4 years old to come and improve their skills every Saturday morning at 9am, either at our brilliant Eagles Park ground or at the 3G astro pitch we use at Bishops Lonsdale school in Eccleshall during the winter months. It is key for the future of the club that we get young children engaged and enjoying football from an early age.
Under 7s
We run two Under 7s team for children who are in either in Year 2 at school or have turned 6 in Year 1, who plays 5 a side football in the Mid Staffs Juniors League every Sunday. We train every Saturday morning and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
Under 8s
We run two Under 8s teams for children who are in Year 3 at school, who plays 5 a side football in the Mid Staffs Juniors League every Sunday. We train every Saturday morning, and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
Under 9s
We run one Under 9 team for children who are in Year 4 at school, who plays 7 a side football in the Mid Staffs Juniors League every Sunday. We train every Saturday morning and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
Under 10s
We run three Under 10s team for children who are in Year 5 at school, who plays 7 a side football in the Mid Staffs Juniors League every Sunday. We train every Saturday morning and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
Under 11s
We run two Under 11 teams for children who are in Year 6 at school, who plays 9 a side football in the Mid Staffs Juniors League every Sunday. We train every Thursday evening and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
Under 12s
We run one Under 12 team for children who are in Year 7 at school, who plays 9 a side football in the Mid Staffs Juniors League every Sunday. We train every Wednesday evening and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
Under 13s
We run two Under 13 teams for children who are in Year 8 at school, who both play 11 a side football in the Mid Staffs Juniors League every Sunday. We train every Wednesday evening and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
Under 14s
We run two Under 14 teams for children who are in Year 9 at school, who both play 11 a side football in the Mid Staffs Juniors League every Sunday. We train every Monday evening and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
Under 15s
We don't currently run an Under 15 team in the 2019/20 season but please get in touch with us if you are keen to help us set one up, and play on our fabulous pitches.
Under 16s
We run an Under 16 team for children who are in Year 11 at school, who plays 11 a side football in the North Staffs League every Sunday. We train every Friday evening and children are welcome to come along to training to give it a go.
